Measuring 9 Feet10 Inch long by 3 Feet1 Inch wide, the Rio Feets raised bow and stern and double-hull construction make it extra-rugged and rigid, so it Feets ideal for rough waters, lakes, ocean, fishing and diving. This one-person canoe holds up to 350 pounds; it Feets made of durable 18-gauge PVC with a 420D nylon cover and a rugged, fabric-reinforced bottom. It features directional strakes for maximum steering control, and built-in oar holders. The elevated bucket seat has storage compartments in back, while the canoe also features removable stern storage. D-rings and tie-downs provide a handy place to attach extra gear. The Rio is equipped with a raised bow and stern, with a design that's as close in shape, comfort, and styling to the North American Indian canoe as an inflatable boat can get. As a result, you'll look and feel authentic as you cruise down the waterway. Construction-wise, the boat features a durable hull made of 18-gauge PVC, along with a 420D nylon cover and a rugged, fabric-reinforced bottom.
The Rio is comfortable enough for daylong trips thanks to the elevated bucket seat, which also includes a storage compartment in the back. To help you get around, the boat features directional strakes for maximum steering control. And as with all Sevylor boats, the Rio's exclusive Airtight system is guaranteed not to leak. Other details include Double-Lock valves that prevent accidental air loss, removable stern storage, built-in carrying handles, paddle/oar holders, D-rings and tie downs, and a nylon carrying bag. The road from Sevylor's founding in 1948 to its current role as the dominant supplier of a wide range of inflatables--such as kayaks, boats, and towables--is a long one, with plenty of original inventions and innovations along the way. Established in a city suburb of Vitry, France, by electronics engineer Berco Grimbert, Sevylor originally built electrical accessories, with a sideline business dedicated to using its high-frequency welding machines to manufacture PVC consumer goods.
